It’s all so Deep - Mind and Spirit
The blogs on this site are in categories and the pages are either independent, with no relation to the blogs, or they are an introduction to a category.
If you have any ability at all to examine the reasons for your own actions you will understand that many things you do are done because a part of you which has no relation to your conscious wishes has power to take control of you at times. In fact there are many things you do which are hard even for you yourself to understand. I believe that if we try to notice those things we can begin to understand our total selves, conscious, unconscious and sub-conscious, much better. Then we have more chance of making ourselves into the sorts of people we want to be.
Also, in this world there are so many tales of spiritual events, things that can’t be explained by scientific investigation, that there has to be truth behind them somewhere. No, they are not always explainable by the operation of the unconscious or sub-conscious mind. To ignore this evidence, however, may be a result of an unconscious need to ignore it.
I choose to explore both mind and spirit. If I have dark (dysfunctional) drives within me I have no choice but to try to understand them and overcome their negative effect on my life. However, I prefer to explore the side of the spirit world that has good, or positive, effects upon the world and its people. The evidence of a dark side, powers that have negative force, is also too common to be dismissed.
Let us talk together about finding a true and positive core to our being and share experiences of good spirituality in a loving way. I don’t believe boasting of spiritual ‘achievement’ is a bright side behaviour and excluding or condemning the spiritual beliefs of others is also against the teachings of the most peaceful masters although many of their followers have chosen to fail to follow that throughout history. Let us not make those mistakes here and establish a mindset of peaceful dialogue. I will be happy to delete any postings written from a position of hate disguised as exclusiveness.
