My friend, the honest exam supervisor, is really quite popular with her students and they respect her ideas, though different from the way many of them have been brought up. Kids in China, as everywhere, give gifts to their favourite teachers. These ones were relaxed enough with my friend and knew her well enough to give a really funny one, well, double-edged humour.
